Award winning Vintage Cava, to be enjoyed on special occasions as an aperitif or with food
Established in 1923, Perelada is one of Spain's most dynamic wineries and principal Cava producers, it is still family owned and run. Made using traditional Champagne grape varieties, the bottles are stored in the cellar of the gothic cloister of the monastery annexed to the castle. The wine is matured for 24 months with riddling by hand before disgorgement.
Pale yellow with green tinge and fine persistent mousse. On the nose there are ripe fruit aromas and ageing tones. Dry, smooth, very well balanced, this is full-bodied Cava with fruit notes and a long finish.
Great on its own or with fine seafood, poultry or pork dishes.
Grape Variety: 60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay
