A fantastic crisp white wine from the South of France. A perfect alternative to Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc.
Domaines Bonfils is a family business that has been growing grapes since 1870. Now in the 6th generation, the business comprises 19 Domaines and Chateaux, 17 of which are in the Languedoc with 1800 hectares of vineyards, making them one of the largest independent grape-grower/wine producers in France. The Chapelle des Penitents wines are made under our control, by a partner winery in the South of France, stretching along the Thau lagoon to the west of the Mediterranean's Golfe de Lyon lies the largest white wine producing area in the Languedoc: the Picpoul de Pinet terroir.
Bright yellow with green flecks, floral aromas with fruits such as pears and green apples, on the palate this full bodied wine displays citrus fruits and a subtle minerality followed by a refreshing finish.
A natural pairing for seafood, fish and traditional Mediterranean dishes.
