Bursting with fruit and deep purple in colour, the most popular style of port from this Iconic Port House
LBV (Late Bottled Vintage) was developed as a high quality but more affordable and immediately drinkable alternative to Vintage port to be enjoyed by the glass on everyday occasions.Tasting Note
Pungent aromatic nose of black woodland fruit, dark cherry and plum with some balsamic herbal scents and a hint of exotic wood. Lovely clean, crisp freshness to the bouquet. The palate is rounded, smooth and well balanced. Flavours of redcurrant, raspberry and blueberry in abundance, with a delicious hint of black liquorice, violets and lovely spice. In true Taylor style, the wine is very well structured with big firm tannins that hold the wine nicely together.
Excellent match for a goat's cheese and cheese boards in general, also try serving alongside a hot chocolate fondant with ice cream or why not try a chocolate cake with a raspberry sauce.<
