RUM SIXTY SIX is a blend of rums from both the column or “Coffey” still for delicate nuanced flavours and the traditional copper pot still which infuses the rum with a more robust character. The rum is put into small American white oak ex-Bourbon casks, (mostly from Lynchburg, Tennessee) - an excellent wood for ageing and maturing.
RUM SIXTY SIX is distilled from fermented molasses in small batches (usually 112 barrels) and tropically aged. All the range go through rigorous quality checks ensuring that the rum is maturing to the high standards expected.
